Zips Puzzles is the home of puzzle books by Zip Buckle. This notice explains what happens when you visit the website or join the Puzzle Club.

Joining the Puzzle Club

When you join, we collect the name you would like us to use and your email address. We use these to send Puzzle Club emails, including book news and opportunities to appear in a future book. Joining gives you a chance to be considered; it does not guarantee an appearance. We will agree any use of your name in a book with you separately.

We store your name, email, subscription status and any optional detective-style preference privately in our WordPress database, hosted by Hostinger. We also record when and how you joined, welcome-email status and unsubscribe requests. Only authorised website administrators can access the member list. Your detective-style preference helps shape future books. Hostinger handles delivery of our individual welcome emails. We also email signup details to our private Puzzle Club mailbox for membership administration; those mailbox copies are handled separately when you request erasure. The signup form uses limited technical information to process submissions and prevent abuse. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for details of its services.

Your choices

Joining the Puzzle Club signs you up for its emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in any Puzzle Club email, without signing in. We mark your membership record as unsubscribed to prevent further club emails unless you confirm that you want to rejoin. If you ask us to erase your details, we remove your name, email and preference while retaining a hashed version of the email address and suppression status to prevent unwanted emails. To ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion, email puzzleclub@zipspuzzles.com.

Visiting the website

Our website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger. The hosting service may process technical information such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the website. WordPress uses cookies for administrators who sign in.

Other websites

Book purchase links take you to Amazon, and our Instagram link takes you to Instagram. Those services handle your information under their own privacy policies. We do not collect payment details on this website.
